A. Sub-Inspector (SI)
- Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
- Age Limit: Generally between 21 and 28 years (subject to revision and relaxation). A 3-year age relaxation was provided for all categories in the 2025 recruitment, resulting in an upper age limit of 33 years for SEBC, SC, ST, and Women candidates.
- Physical Standards: Specific height, weight, and chest measurements (for men) as per category, to be met in the Physical Standard Test (PST).
- Men (General & SEBC): 168 cm height, 55 kg weight, 79-84 cm chest.
- Women (General & SEBC): 155 cm height, 47.5 kg weight.
- Men (SC/ST): 163 cm height, 50 kg weight, 76-81 cm chest.
- Women (SC/ST): 150 cm height, 45 kg weight.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running (e.g., 1.6 km in 8 minutes for men, 10 minutes for women), long jump (e.g., 3.66 meters for men, 2.77 meters for women, 3 attempts), cross-country running (5 km), ladder climbing, and swimming may be included.
B. Constable/Sepoy - Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) from a recognized board, with proficiency in reading and writing Odia.
- Age Limit: Generally between 18 and 23 years (subject to revisions and relaxation).
- Physical Standards: Specific height, weight, and chest measurements (for men) are required.
- Men (General & SEBC): 168 cm height, 55 kg weight, chest 79-84 cm.
- Women (General & SEBC): 158 cm height, 47.5 kg weight.
- Men (SC/ST): 163 cm height, 50 kg weight, chest 76-81 cm.
- Women (SC/ST): 153 cm height, 45 kg weight.

- Local Employment Exchange Registration: May be required.
C. Traffic Police Constable - Educational Qualification: Passed 10+2 (or equivalent) with Odia language proficiency.

D. Fire Station Officer - Educational Qualification: Science or Engineering Graduate from a recognized university or institute.

Salary and Other Allowances: - 1. Constable/Sepoy
- Pay Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100.
- Annual Package: Approximately ₹3.5 – ₹4.5 lakhs.
- Allowances: Dearness Allowance (DA) (currently at 38% of Basic Pay), House Rent Allowance (HRA) (varying based on city category), Travel Allowance (TA), Uniform Allowance, Medical Allowance, and potentially others as per government rules.
2.Sub-Inspector (SI) - Pay Band: ₹9,300 – ₹34,800.
- Annual Package: Estimated to be around ₹5 – ₹6 lakhs.
- Allowances: DA, HRA Basic Pay depending on the city, TA, Medical Benefits, Uniform Allowance, Risk Allowance, etc.
3. Traffic Police Constable - Pay Scale: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100.
