1. Officer Entries:
- 10+2 (B.Tech) Entry:
- 12th pass with a minimum of 70% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and 50% in English in 10th or 12th standard.
- 2. Agniveer (SSR) Entry:
- 10+2 examination with Maths & Physics and at least one of these subjects: Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science, from the Boards of School Education recognised by the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India.
- 3. Tradesman Mate:
- Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized institute or Board with knowledge of English.
- General Requirements:
- Age Limit: Varies depending on the entry type, but typically falls within the range of 17 to 25 years.
JEE (Main) rank is compulsory to apply. - Short Service Commission (SSC) – Executive Branch:
- B.E/B.Tech in any discipline with a minimum of 60% marks.
- MBA/B.Sc/B.Com with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Post Graduate Diploma in relevant fields like Finance, Logistics, Material Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- Short Service Commission (SSC) – Education Branch:
- M.Sc in Applied Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Nuclear Physics, Operational Research, or Physics with a minimum of 60% marks.
- MA in English or History with a minimum of 55% marks.
- B.Tech in relevant fields like Electronics & Telecommunication, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Technology, Electrical, Electrical & Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Instrumentation, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Mechanical with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Naval Armament Inspectorate Cadre:
- B.E/B.Tech from AICTE recognized university/institute with a minimum of 60% marks.
- NCC Certificate Holders:
- University graduates possessing NCC ‘C’ certificate with a minimum ‘B’ grading and 50% marks in the graduation degree examination are inducted in the Navy as regular commissioned officers.
- Marital Status: Generally, unmarried candidates are preferred for most entries.
- Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the prescribed physical standards, including height, weight, and vision requirements.
Nationality: Candidates must be citizens of India.
Physical Test:
1. Height and Weight: - Minimum Height: 157 cm for males and 152 cm for females.
- Chest Expansion: Candidates must be able to expand their chest by at least 5 cm.
2. Vision Standards: - Minimum Acceptable Vision: 6/6, 6/9 correctable to 6/6, 6/6 with glasses.
- No Color/Night Blindness: Candidates should not be color or night blind.
- No Squint or Abnormality: Eyes should be bright, clear, and without any obvious squint or abnormality.
3. Physical Fitness Test: - 1.6 km Run: To be completed within 7 minutes.
